While getting ready for bed last night...
Kenton: "Mom, prayer doesn't really turn the night to day!"
Hmmm - how to explain this one to an almost 6 year old? We had a singing on Sunday with the KC Singles and we sang, "Prayer will turn the night to day so when life seems dark and dreary don't forget to pray!"
Mom: "Well, technically it doesn't but if you are feeling sad in your heart a prayer can turn that feeling into sunshine:)"
Not sure that he believed me but it was interesting to me that he was still thinking about that song two days after we had sung it!
